Yes. I am really enjoying the trip. We are done with serving work. We are moving to Boracay island on Monday. It is hot but it is fun. Today we go to church it will be good day too.

The place that we are staying is awesome. I didn't expect this good place in the beginning. Also the kids and people here is so warm-hearted and sweet. I'm not actually having any bad times, but I'm enjoying to serve these Ati people as well as the Philippines itself :)

We are basically working hard to help Ati people out. Our leaders (Teachers) are working together with us and also encourage us to work hard. Food here is nice and sleeping place is also good.

I am having a great time with my friends. There is more work than I expected but I am still having a good time.
I know you aren't having fun in the Maldives because I'm not there. I'm here serving others and working really hard. And how are you?
The boracay trip is going well. The team are getting along working together, sleeping together, and having fun together.
It's day 3 of working and the team has been doing a great job working together and getting along. Today we're gonna be participating during chapel time at the school that we've been working back. Looking forward to this last three days of week without walls and senior trip after that.
Today we worked just as hard as we did yesterday, just more efficiently. Everything was just more in control - we worked, moved and laughed as a coherent group.
Today we had another workday full of work and I am really enjoying getting away from the computer and actually being able to work with my hands! It's really satisfying and not even having the choice to work on online classes or thesis allows me to actually relax and enjoy this time! Seeing the Ati people and their condition is really interesting and inspiring too! Playing with the kids really brings up some memories too! I'm really looking forward to senior trip as well though haha
I think our group is doing pretty good in every aspect of our work
I can see that everyone is getting tired in the hot sun however we did not complain a lot and endure and satisfied with what we had
I felt like we are becoming mature bit by bit in this suffering, understanding how fortunate we are just by born with wealthy family with comfortable life
I appreciate more about what I got from my parents and I feel bad about how I have treated by parents

Today construction work was far more efficient than yesterday's. I definitely feel that our guys team has bonded together today, even after the work when we were all hanging out at a beach in front of our residence. I can see that this trip will only get better.

Hi Mom and Dad I'm jinhee! The place where I'm staying is super good. And the food is too delicious so I'm getting fatter and fatter. Everyday I labor everyday like a Philippine worker. It's very tiring but it's very fun at the same time. I'm having fun here so don't worry ahahahahahah see you Mon and Dad I love you <3
Today I worked as hard as if I were in Cambodia! But oh boy does it feel so great to be with my senior friends :D
Today was incredible! I found my new passion: plastering walls. Inez, Julia, Jin Hee and I slapped cement onto walls for hours and hours and loved it. I also really loved hanging out and singing songs with the Ati people. Covered in dirt, we swam in the ocean while the sun was setting. I loved today, I can't wait for what the rest of the week brings and the friendships that will be made stronger.
PS: the stars are SO amazing. God loves showing off to us <3
Today was full of activity, and although it felt like more of a day of enjoyment we managed to connect with each other and with the people at the Ati village. We started the day when the sun started to rise in the sky and the scenery was as beautiful as the company. When we were sifting the sand and the pebbles, It was hard to imagine how this work would impact the people there, truly, but I have come to realise that it's important to have faith in the final end and the little bits that make it. I found it related to what God has called us to do. We may not see the end and final accomplishment, but we have to have faith in God's plan, in terms of telling people the Good news. You may not see their change in them immediately or even in your lifetime... But there would be a result. Reminding myself of that today has made me think about my relationship with God and how i love people as I serve.
It was great! We carried a lot of stuff for construction and it was very productive. It's nice to make their lives easier.
The place we're staying at is really nice and its right next to the beach! So we went swimming today!! We are helping this school build buildings and I helped to put cement on the wall! We're all exhausted but it's a lot of fun:)
Boracay is really hot and I want some cool water with comfortable shower, but everyone is working hard and using their skills to help each other and do what others can't. Charlie You.
